Who doesn’t want to have fun and make money? Nobody!! Here at Horse Therapy Centre of Canada you’ll have a blast, learn new skills and make money at the same time.
New Skills
You will learn new, transferrable skills while working at HTCC. From personal psychosocial skills to work-based skills, you will have lots of new skills to carry forward to your future positions.
Flexible Contracts & Pay
We have 6 weeks, 9 weeks, and August-only contracts for our camp staff. We also pay our staff a non-camp staff, meaning we pay more than most camps do.
Free Transportation
Do you live in Toronto, Durham Region, York Region or Simcoe County? We have busing to bring you to and from work – FOR FREE! Check our Bus Transportation for the stop closest to you.

Camp Staff Commitment & Requirements
- Must have completed Grade 10 as of June 2023
- You must be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- You must be available to attend Pre-Camp Staff Training on June 15, 16, 22, 23, 2024
- All staff must provide a recent criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
Swim Staff Commitment & Requirements
- Must meet all of the above Camp Staff Commitment & Requirements
- Life-Saving Bronze Cross Certification or NLS AND
- Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Certification and/or Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
Therapist, Mental Health Staff & Nurse Commitment & Requirements
- Must be registered and in good standing with appropriate body
- You must be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- You must be available to work from June 19 – September 8, 2023
- All staff must provide a recent criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
Adult Camp Staff Commitment & Requirements
- You must be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
